The Future Needs Funding Program™ or FNFP is working to establish real-time data feeds with financial institutions utilizing the FNFP database to link non-profit organizations (NPOs) with individual donors who have named one or more NPOs as beneficiaries and given permission to provide this information to FNFP.  FNFP also provides financial institutions the ability to transmit beneficiary information authorized by an account owner to FNFP via an alternative technology connection, as well as by regular mail.

The financial institutions’ participation is seen by NPOs and the community-at-large as a goodwill gesture, enhancing their public image as good corporate citizens.

The financial institutions also benefit directly by creating a new marketing angle for financial advisers to promote their products, and give their clients another reason to stay invested with them.
