The Future Needs Funding Program™ or FNFP allows a potential donor to earmark assets for the NPO now, without losing ownership or control. This may be accomplished by making a simple change to beneficiary designations on insurance policies or other accounts. 

The donor retains full ownership rights and is never “locked” into a contract.  The donor’s access to the account remains unchanged—the donor’s game plan hasn’t changed at all. 

As owner, the donor may have personal reasons for changing the beneficiary on their account.  For example, the donor’s financial circumstances or priorities may have changed.  The donor may also wish to increase or decrease the beneficiary amount to the NPO based upon the NPO’s meeting, or not meeting the donor’s expectations.  FNFP fosters a healthy accountability between the NPO and the donor. 

In a nutshell, there is no downside risk to the donor to benefit a NPO through FNFP.  The donor retains ownership and control; the donor may access funds or make beneficiary changes at any time; and FNFP provides donors an easy process for putting in motion donors’ good intentions.
