Future Needs Funding Reports

• Dollar amounts included in the total representing gifts already made to the NPO, are based solely upon information contributed to the FNFP database by the NPO.  Because of this fact, actual amounts already gifted by donor for endowment purposes may not be reflected here.  Actual donations given for endowment may be reflected in the future report versions.
• The reports and charts are intended to give the user an approximate value of endowment funds gifted and earmarked for a NPO. Because the gifted amounts are reported by the NPO, and the earmarked amounts reported on a report date may be communicated to the FNFP database via different reporting options, with varying speeds of information delivery, all dollar amounts compiled in this report at any given time may not be based upon the same valuation date. These values are subject to change, as amounts gifted and earmarked to the NPO continue to increase or decrease the value of a NPO’s total endowment.
• FNFP is prepared to track beneficiary gifts from all accounts with beneficiary provisions. Although FNFP provides multiple options for financial institutions to communicate beneficiary information to the FNF database, there may be some financial institutions that may not be able to communicate this information, as authorized by the account owner. In these cases, the account owner can work directly with FNF to communicate this information to the database until the financial institution allows for this service.
